Was bored out of my wits. I don't usually turn to YouTube for entertainment. Was going through some random videos and landed up with this one. It's an ad for Trueroots which is a calling service provided by Tata. I simply loved the ad because its so true. Indians will be able to identify with what's being depicted.
We (as Indians) have so many mannerisms that are unique and oh-so-adorable. We fight for the most irrelevant things. We nod and shake our heads for a 'yes' or a 'no'. This 'yes' and 'no' technique has earned many a fans from around the globe. Foreigners have gone to great lengths to describe in their blogs how to interpret these shakes and nods so as to make it easier for their readers who plan to tour India and who has to take services from a local taxi driver. One of these blog entires has even mentioned the angles in which a head turns for a 'yes', 'no' and a 'maybe'. Weird but true.
We even have the habit of putting 'uncle' and 'aunty' after every name of an elderly person. 'Seema Aunty', 'Yash uncle'. Am guessing we are the only people who do that!
Anyway, enough of my banter. Enjoy the video!
