- Going to my paternal grandparents house in my shorts (I can't believe I wore shorts then! Much to the amazement of my orthodox neighbours) and listening to my grandmom's story recitals from panchatantra, Ramayana (remember that chech?). That place is now sold and grandmom is somewhere far far away in her own peaceful world...
- Eating Keema and Chicken sandwiches from the school canteen with Pue. They used to make yummy sandwiches!!
- The Carnatic music class at school! A bunch of crazy people, music and masti. What more can you ask for?
- Going for picnics, tours with family and friends. We used to have one every other month coz we had more younger and enthusiastic parents then ;)
And lots, lots more. The point is we were so carefree then! As you grow up you have never ending problems, increased responsibilities. You just forget to be free again. Isn't it sad ? When we were young,we couldn't wait till we were grown up. You just didn't want to be that 'little kid'. But when you are grown up.. you have a different story to tell.
I want to go back and experience so many of the same things again. At the same time, I want to change some of them (especially of my school days) . Live the life the way I should have. The only thing I have now is my present. I hope I can imprint even better memories into my life now so that later on I am not left with the same feeling of missing out on something. I don't want to look back on my life with regrets. I don't want to say 'Oh shit! I should have done that!' later on.
Most of all, just live your life and follow your dreams. That way you will never have any regrets!
